How LifeSculpt Works
LifeSculpt is powered by the state-of-the-art SlimLipo laser lipolysis system, which delivers a unique fat "melting" laser wavelength that gently liquefies fat for easier removal from the body through a medical suction device.
The LifeSculpt procedure uses an advanced laser body sculpting system called SlimLipo, which features fat "melting" laser wavelengths that gently liquefy fat. The liquefied fat is then permanently removed from the body, using a medical suction device, through a few tiny incisions.
Unlike traditional liposuction, LifeSculpt laser liposuction doesn't leave dents or dings. On the contrary, the SlimLipo laser heats the tissue which may tighten your skin, resulting in a smoothly contoured surface. In some cases, the LifeSculpt laser body sculpting procedure can be completed in as little as an hour.
Because LifeSculpt is gentle on the body, physicians usually use only a local anesthesia, allowing you to stay awake and quickly resume your normal daily activities. Of course, every patient and procedure is different, so talk this over with your LifeSculpt physician to see what works best for you.
The SlimLipo laser used in the LifeSculpt procedure is cleared by the United States of America Food and Drug Administration for laser-assisted lipolysis.
Getting Started
First step is a consultation with Dr. Lawrence, a highly experienced Life sculpt physician. During the consultation, be prepared to discuss your medical history and goals for the procedure. Your physician will tell you whether LifeSculpt is right for you, what results you can expect, and how much your LifeSculpt body contouring procedure will cost.
During the Procedure
There may be a slight pinching and minimal discomfort when local anesthesia is administered. Because the LifeSculpt body sculpting system uses precision laser technology, there's little to no "ripping" and "tearing" like in traditional liposuction. Most patients feel nothing but mild warmth during the process.
Recovery
Generally, recovery time is very quick. Most patients experience little to no soreness and many even go to work the next day. A compression garment usually is worn on the treated area for a few days.
